Commissions

Commissions and projects, powered by passion and tenacity

Through nearly two decades of capturing images in some of the most spectacular places on the planet, I have amassed a significant catalogue of work. But sometimes that’s not enough – a new idea, a new method, a different ecosystem, a new goal – all require careful consideration and execution. I am uniquely positioned to help you deliver these goals for whatever project you may have in mind, be it something simple, right through to meticulously planned expeditions focusing on never before observed phenomena in unique places.

What fits

The best fit for engagement is work that benefits from years of experience in the field observing unique processes; ones that focus on capturing the living world in ways that reinforce how special these places are. With a particular focus on threatened species, the overlaps of human-biota habitat and how they function, and how the world around us is changing, the best assignments are often driven from the ground up in difficult or unpredictable conditions.

What the process looks like

All assignments are researched and scoped thoroughly before anything is undertaken, collaboratively with you. This means things like weather windows and seasonality, access and permits, subject welfare, and specialist equipment requirements are all baked in from the start, not merely taken as afterthoughts to solve on the day.

What to expect

Given the breadth of scope for possible assignments, delivery is always determined in consideration of the task/s to be undertaken. As such, budgets and timelines vary widely depending on travel, access, rights handling, and whether a project is best served by stills, motion, digital delivery, print, or some combination of the aforementioned. Get in touch and we can discuss your needs and how this type of unique imagery can help sell your ideas in whatever venue you cast them.
