Aside from being prone to writing in the third person for some inexplicable reason, I am:
originally from meanjin / Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, but now reside on the shores of kanamaluka / River Tamar, lutruwita / Tasmania, Australia
living with multiple disabilities, but making the best of it anyway
a current software engineer
an amateur space weather forecaster
a marginally less amateur space weather photographer
invited to a lot of ‘of the Year’ parties
likely to drive 750km in a single sitting just because ‘the sky was clear‘
… or because ‘it wasn’t’ …
way too fond of sarcasm
even more fond of interesting vanity basins
So, “pretty normal” one might say.

Over the last decade, my photographic and advocacy work has seen me extensively featured across global media (Nature, National Geographic, The Dodo, PetaPixel), as well as being a frequent finalist in a range of world-renowned international competitions (Siena International Photo Awards, Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year, CWAS ‘David Malin Awards’).
I also regularly contribute to a range of traditional media across Australia and globally, including regular spots on the ABC Radio National network speaking on a range of topics across space and biology, art, and life in general.
