At the start of 2016/17’s storm season in Southwest Queensland, a significant outbreak of supercells was modelled weeks in advance. This system eventuated and along with it brought immense supercell activity, here seen throwing large numbers of lightning bolts across the landscape as the storm arrives right on dusk.
