Craterostigmus tasmanianus

A slow-moving centipede up to 50mm long, greenish to yellowish-brown with a reddish-brown head and single eye on each side. Endemic to Tasmania and nearby islands, found in woodland leaf litter and rotting logs; females coil around their eggs and young until they disperse.
