The phenomenon of Living Light, or more accurately the collection of several related processes – bioluminescence, biophosphorescence, and the field my work primarily focuses on – biofluorescence. These are living things using biological processes to produce light through various means, either chemical or in response to external stimuli such as specific types of light.
